Robert Aland Angelo

Robert Aland Angelo age 64 of Ligonier passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at his home. He was born on September 5, 1961 in Uniontown, a son of Earnest Everett and Margeret Derkach Angelo.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Neiderhiser Angelo; son, Chad Angelo.

Robert is survived by his children: Sean Michael Angelo and wife Katelyn of Bentleyville, Rhiannon Angelo and her boyfriend Joseph Sklencar of Munhall; grandchildren: Sophia and Logan Angelo; siblings: Gloria, Jackie, Tom, Richard; ex-wife, Jennifer Angelo.

He had a great love for writing, recording, and playing music along with teaching, retiring from Latrobe School District.  E also had a love of tractors (Massey Ferguson, New Holland, Farmall) and muscle and classic cars; cuddling with his grand-puppies: Penny, Wrex, Delilan, Romeo, Levi & Pepper.

Robert’s family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Friday, February 20, 2026 in the Blair Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory, 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, PA. where his funeral service will be held at 8 PM with Pastor Steve Hospodar officiating. Interment is private.
